How can you not like this movie. It is cheesy, the biker gangs are borderline retarded and there is a lot of decent action. If you like this movie check out Death Race 2000, it is Mad Max on steroids and a funnier.

Low budget, but ultra cool, Mad Max proves that as long as you have a good story, lots of car chase action and a magnetic actor (Mel Gibson - young and feral) - you'll have a good movie.
