"Match Point" proves a Woody Allen movie doesn't have to be funny to be good. It takes time for it to find its footing, but it proves to be an excellent dramatic piece.

A complete departure for Woody Allen with brilliant results. Allen creates a neo-noir that runs its fully-fleshed characters through a series of tension-infused scenes that exhibit razor-sharp, Allen-esque dialogue and dark humor. The cast quietly and subtly acts out a story of obsession and betrayal with excellently.

This movie was pretty cool. Then ending was completely crazy and unexpected. But this wasn't too bad. JRM is always amazing to me in everything he does even if it sucks. But this didn't suck. It was cool.

What a well paced film that turns up the tension to an almost unbearable point. Allen's best in years.

Scarlett Johansen. That's it. Woody Allen made one of the worst movies of his career.
