Great premise for a comedy has a good first act. But then it gets sloppy and less funny.

Hugh Grant doing his bumbling middle class Englishman schtick in an unimaginative, unfunny mob comedy. The comic highlight is Grant trying to say "fugeddabowdit". Ho ho ho. Total dross.

It wasn't hysterical fromo beginning to end, but the parts that were funny were FUNNNYYY! The plot was silly but fun. I liked it. I can't give it a higher rating than a 2.5, because the quality of the movie isn't really that deserving. On a personal level its definitely a 3, but stepping outside of myself the movie and into the real world of critiquing the movie was too silly and didn't have sufficient humor to bump it up another half of a star.
