The Meaning of Life is without a doubt the most tasteless of the Monty Python feature films; it also happens to be one of the funniest. Life's questions are "answered" in a series of outrageous vignettes, beginning with a pre-credits sequence at a staid London insurance company which transforms before our eyes into a pirate ship. The first part of this movie i said to myself WTF is this, but as the movie went on I begin to laugh and laugh more louder. the movie has some jaw to the floor visuals and the comedy actually made me laugh.

Funny point of view about the meaning of the life in surreal comedy.

Python was a bit past it's sell by date when this was made, but there are still moments of comic genius. Inconsistent, but worth it for the best bits.

Monty Python's style of humor works best in this format - simple, short sketches that don't overstay their welcome. While the film doesn't capture the same mad hilarity of Holy Grail, it is easily one of the best Python films and still very, very funny.

M.P. deliver some great laughs once again. This film is more like the t.v. show and less like the previous films, in it's sketch format. There's a few sketches that are dry, but most of the film is solid funny.

If you like Monty Python (TV or other films) then you will like their take on the cycles of life - from birth to death - in their British fashion. While I don't think it has the same appeal as Holy Grail or Life of Brian, it is still a damn funny movie.

Hilarious slap-stick satire about the 'Meaning of Life.' Full of huge strings of ongoing jokes, and many segments of ridiculous material, Monty Python's The Meaning Of Life is a complete laugh riot. Though sometimes it was uneasy to understand what the plots objective was (if there was one present), The Meaning of Life is a jolly good time. FINAL SCORE :::: 79% ::::
