Very campy, though fun

Two brothers (Nathan Lane and Lee Evans) inherit their father's string factory, as well as his dilapidated mansion, which they soon discover is more expensive than the current listed price. They also discover a tenant that quickly becomes unwanted -- a mouse.
What ensues is a bunch of slapstick comedic scenes of the two brothers becoming victims of circumstance as they try to destroy the mouse.
Lane and Evans work well as the brothers, and play off one another quite nicely. Their comedic timing is near perfect, especially when going after the mouse.
It is hard to believe that in many shots, the mouse is actually computer generated. It is very realistic CGI in my opinion.
The slapstick comedy goes a bit overboard in this film. However, the target audience is children, so …
