Being iconic, being timeless, and being great are three separate qualities. "Animal House" is fairly successful at the second and third of those things, but it's without a doubt amongst the most accomplished at being the first.

Animal House wrote the book on college movies. It's a nonstop energetic romp that features solid one-liners, some memorable characters (particularly John Belushi's Bluto), and madcap action. The film's frenetic and wild pacing mirrors its plot and keeps the film from ever dragging or becoming boring.

This was one the most funny movies ever. I really enjoyed this movie even though the National Lampoon movies are mostly completely stupid, after this one they started being really stupid. Belushi was probably the most funny person in the movie, especially because of the food fight. I really liked the ending. I really loved this movie just because of its gutbusting hilariousness. I'd recomend this movie to anyone who like collage comedies, the national lampoon movies, oh forget it! Everyone will love this movie.

Every part of this movie (from beginning to end) is hilarious. Hell, even the score is funny! I've always enjoyed this movie. Classic. Classic. Classic!

Not as good as old school, but I believe it is the original college party movie. If you are college, going to college, or were in college you must see this movie. Not as funny as it used to be, but still good.

Any movie dealing with colleges, fraternities and comedy owes its allegiance to Animal House. Hilarious plot, unforgettable characters and great one-liners. This classic will always remain king.
