What's the most twisted movie you can think of. Now times it by 5 and you have "Natural Born Killers."

Mickey Knox: "Shit, man, I'm a natural born killer". The story is about a serial killing pair who were victimized sexually as children fall in love, go on a rampage, and kill a lot of people as they run from police. This movie is filled with crazy but amazing scenes with the weird imagery. The directing in this movie sharp and brilliant.Woody Harrelson and Juliette Lewis did really good in the film, but my favorite character in this film is Robert Downey Jr.

A film that meditates on the nature of violence in media, but, in so doing, is itself a grotesque and violent display. As with some other Stone works, it is hardly as subtle as it thinks it is and the same subject was tackled with much greater effect in an earlier film (one that Stone is obviously emulating) in Bonnie and Clyde. The cast is talented and Harrelson and Lewis are a formidable and scary criminal duo, but the film is too desperate to shock without backing it up with substance.

One of those films you have to see twice before you can start to appreciate it. It has an anti everything attitude that works, because of the subtle satire underneath the chaos. I don't hold it in as high regard as some critics, but I do enjoy it and feel it holds up to repeated viewings.

Uncomfortable movie, but definitely a work of art as far as I'm concerned.

The film is about the vehement killing spree and love of Mickey (Woody Harrelson) and Mallory (Juliette Lewis). The reporter Wayne Gale (Robert Downey Jr.) makes their story into a media event, which in turn creates fans for the volatile couple. The soundtrack used and character build-up for the flick was good and the dialogue somewhat had depth. The only qualms I had were MTV/documentary style of filming was a bit confusing. Despite of some parts of the film was a bit dragging, the cast did a solid job. The movie implies the symbolism of violence, media exploitation and effects criminals that can’t be apprehended. If only the execution of the story was smoother, but I guess Stone had a technique which he felt suited for the film.

A stunning look at the effects of humanity on individual people, as well as dealing with matters of fame, the meaning of "celebrity," "Natural Born Killers" is certainly one of Oliver Stone's greatest achievements as a writer/director.

This is the most Tarantino non Tarantino film ever. Although, he did write the screenplay. Quick cuts, animation, 18 different types of film, wierd angles, it's all here. It's a fascinating look at the media and America as a whole. And I don't like what I see. Two kids, who obviously need help, and don't get it go on a killing spree. When they are finally finished with killing, the media makes them out to be some kind of hero for generation x. When people talk about this film, the onlything they notice is the violence, they don't see the story underneath. Watch it again, or see it for the first time with a more open mind.
