HOLY HOTDAMN THAT WAS A TRIP!! Shit went down with this one spanish or mexican or somethin lookin dude that was like shooting people with oxygen bullets or some shit. This guy was literally insane like he was straight making me pee my tighty whities. Then this Josh Brolin lookin asshole walks in and he's like on the look out for this spanish mexican dude. Little does he know....he is also being hunted!! I mean it's a classic flip flop! Guy hunting guy...strangely erotic. Anyways....I think this is the end of the review....bye

Carson Wells: "You go to hell". Anton Chigurh: [Smiles] "Alright". Situated near the Mexican border on the Rio Grande, a hunter finds dead bodies, heroin, and a stack of cash, in which trouble ensues the discovery. No Country for Old Men is a brilliant film that it is hard to hate. the acting and the writing superb.

First time i saw this i loved it.something unique about it, no soundtrack at all during the movie... as in backround music ! it keeps your attention, and you feel like you are watching something great. the bad guy in this movie is really evil and you just want somebody to blow him away

The Coens really have never directed a film like this, then or since. No Country is a nihilistic neo-western that deals with grave themes of morality and inevitability. The familiar cast of odd supporting characters is there, but the Coens sidestep a lot of their penchant for absurdist comedy in lieu of a more serious and urgent tale of greed and obsession. Javier Bardem is the embodiment of fate itself and crafts a fearsome movie villain for the canon of great villains. Much is made of the film's murky ending, but the gripping ride leading up to the open-ended conclusion is equally as powerful.

My favorite film of 2007. I consider it the best of the Coen Bros. non comedy films.
