"Paint Your Wagon" refers to the practice in the old west of the guys painting their wagons as they headed west, seeking their fortunes. This was a long running play that was brought to screen. They did an excellent job of it. No, Eastwood & Marvin can't sing-sing, though they each have songs. But Marvin did a great job of his. Eastwood, not so much. Very funny movie that paints a picture of what it was like back then in the flash boom towns. Marvin steals the show, as usual. A host of other actors you'll recognize. Terrific entertainment.

It's a musical and the worst thing about it is the music. The cast is good. I saw it for Jean Seberg. Also, Clint Eastwood and Lee Marvin aren't bad. It's about polygamy, what would you do with two husbands in the wild, wild west? Interesting right? It's amazing how they could mess this up. Yet Clint Eastwood said he didn't know his mother's favorite movie of his, but he guessed it would be this one.

Brilliant comedy with a great cast and some good songs. The most rembered part i rember is the bull running through the town and first time i ever hearded Clint Eastwood sing. About two partner's who buy and share a wife, hijacking a stage, kidnaping prostitutes, and turning their mining camp into a boomtown. With plenty of drinking, gambling along the way.
