A good movie that is drawn out for an extra thirty, forty minutes. So that it winds up being okay. It's not the best of the 1990s thrillers based off a John Grisham book. Denzel Washington and Juila Roberts are fine together.

Yet another dreary John Grisham legal thriller featuring a particularly uncharismatic Denzel Washington on autopilot and Julia Roberts running around corridors for reasons it's difficult to care about.

meh. Nothing new, just the same thriller elements tossed around. Here's what I wish for: An original presidential character rather than just a one-dimensional caricature of clinton or a bush

I didn't really like this movie very much. I can remember thinking that both Roberts and Washington could've picked a better movie to star in.

A decent Grisham adaptation. The supporting cast almost steals the thunder from the big name leads. There's a good plot, but like many legal thrillers, it often times doesn't move along smooth or quickly enough.
