This film franchise has been a barrage of meaningless action spectacle, though spectacle with a certain elan I will grant. Now, to cap off the trilogy, the spectacle has been cut for the sake of tiresome conversations that veil their meaninglessness with insincere merriment. The writers believe that if the actors are jovial enough and the delivery sharp enough that we will not notice that deep down these characters care so little for each other that they will turn coat at the slightest and silliest provocation. A few marks for some nice visuals here and there and another scene-stealing performance from Bill Nighy.

They crew must sail off the edge of the map, in treacherous waters and people to make their final stand in a battle that will test alliances. I remember very well that I was watching this movie in the cinema thinking this is going to be a long film and I was right. the movie is dull and Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom are the worst part in this movie those two draged the movie down.

Not near as fun, or adventurous as the first two. This continuation of the second film provides more plot confusion and characters than necessary.

The franchise never regains the freshness and swashbuckling magic of the first film. There are so many plot twists and backstabbings that it gets confusing and frustrating and the central characters of the first film become sidelined by extended scenes of special effects and action.

My favorite movie. At world's End is hilarious, and incredible. I love the special effects.

It seems impossible for Johnny Depp and crew to go wrong when it comes to Pirates of the Caribbean. At World's End is as equally amazing as the previous movies. The action is thrilling and the humor lead by Johnny Depp's portrayle of Jack Sparrow makes it impossibel not to laugh. This movie wraps up the trilogy well finishing the stories of Will and Elizabeth but end to leave another adventure for Jack Sparrow on the horizon. All in all the whole trilogy is amazing and are worth watching over and over again with the family.

This movie is amazing! Some people say the trilogy went from good to nad, but I say it went from great to best to excellent. This is definitely the best of the three with all the old actors and some new ones including Chow Yun-Fat. The effects are really good and the story is more complicated. It's got a bit of body to it now, but it's also funnier than ever. Johnny Depp is as excellent as in the other two, but somehow i feel his character has grown. It's filled with action and romance. The end is excellent and leaves you wanting more!Be sure to watch this.

A bloated, listless, self-indulgent and confusingly-plotted finish to the errant trilogy leaves a lot of good visual effects in its wake, but provides plenty of groans, hammy performances (especially Naomi Harris) and just some truly weird moments. This series has just tried my patience for far too long. Final Grade: D+

I loved the first Pirates movie and hated the second, so I didn't see the third in theaters. I just watched it on DVD and I must say I enjoyed it better than the second, but nowhere near the first. Keira Knightley kind of got on my nerves in this movie although I can't quite say why. Hmmmmm.

Scenes with Depp talking to multiple clones of himself are too corny. Hate what happens to Will Turner. This one tries too hard.
