The movie was awesome. I enjoyed it. Robert De Niro does an incredible job playing Jake LaMotta. His performance will go down as one of the best ever. Joe Pesci gives a great performance as well. The part where Jake gets thrown in the jail cell is truly gut ridging. Martin Scorsese directing is brilliant. I am glad the movie was in black and white. A true classic.

Simply, a beautifully lit black & white painstakingly planned boxing ballet...& we thank you Scorsese, for listening to De Niro & taking on this project.

It's not quite as good as AFI makes it out to be. But, it's still pretty damn great!

The movie was entertaining. The performances were great. I enjoyed the black and white. But I never understood why Deniro's character was so angry and on edge. Did I miss something? A little backstory would have been nice. Maybe that's why it's good, you keep guessing what happend in his past, did his brother ever call him, etc? I'm not sold on this being a great film, but a very good film.

Great cinematography and wonderful performances make this one of Scorsese's most emotionally powerful films although it's still not his best.

Even though this is a great film, I can't take all the punches! Robert Deniro's character is beating his wife, the fellow boxers, the walls. It is too brutal to be enjoyable. However, I saw it twice just to make sure I wasn't missing out or something.

Great drama and some of the greatest cinematography in film history, Raging Bull is a classic in every sense of the word. This is one of those films everyone should be required to watch.

The best Martin Scorsese picture - and that says a lot! It has all the right elements, from great cinematography, to unforgettable performances to De Niro and Pesci.
