"Return of the Jedi" is perhaps the weakest of Episodes 4, 5, and 6, but it's an action-packed spectacle and a worthy ending to the original trilogy. Now, onto the prequels.

This film gets a bad rap, mainly because of the Ewoks. But, who doesn't like the Ewoks? I think they're wonderful. This is the film where Luke finally gets his redemption. It also features the most underrated character in the Star Wars universe, Jabba the Hut. However, the digital restoration royally screwed the ending up by inserting Hayden Christensen.

Han and Leia try to destroy the new death star while Luke confronts his father and tryes to find the good in him. This movie started great and ended great. The father and son thing worked brilliant and when you think about it is pretty sad at the end with the final father and son eye to eye.

Good action, effects and music, the characters were evolving and just we need to wait the last episode in 2 years.

In my opinion, this is the best of the trilogy. The plot deals with the dark transformation of Darth Vader and almost transformation of Luke Skywalker and the film, as a whole, is just grittier and more somber. Add to that the introduction of two iconic characters in Boba Fett and Jabba the Hutt, and it's a fitting conclusion to an inventive and adventurous trilogy.

Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Lando Calrissian, Chewbacca, C-3PO and R2-D2 rescue Han Solo from Jabba the Hutt. A few revelations were unfolded and action was fast paced. The Rebel Alliance discover that the Empire has been constructing a new Death Star. The premise was similar to A New Hope and the Ewok's kind of made the franchise more kid friendly but a bit dragging as well. Its lightsaber duels could have been more interesting if they have gotten a better choreographer much like the last trilogy. Nevertheless, Star Wars VI: Return of the Jedi was a good sci-fi to conclude the trilogy.

The film that launched metal bikinis as expected slave girl wear. Plot filled with holes, idiotic little furries, much scene chewing. Pretty good action, though, and the good guys come through in the end.

A great closing to the trilogy, though were the Ewoks really necessary?

Probably the weakest of the original trilogy, it still is very satisfying the way it ends. Darth Vader earns his redemption, the Emperor is defeated and the Rebels blow up the second Death Star. And they all live happily ever after.
