Although often slow-moving, this family drama has a colloquial sort of genuineness that makes a lot of the scenes ring true. The pairing of Sheffer and Pitt as brothers bears the most acting fruit.

While I never loved it, my family did and so I saw it a couple times or more (we had it on VHS). An okay watch.
