Not enough originality to be the Indiana Jones film it wants to be. Rainn Wilson distracts as the sidekick and the leads are not nearly as commanding or iconic as Harrison Ford was.

This movie is just all out ridiculous fun and they did ridiculous right. This is because this movie doesn't pretend to be something it isn't. I'm very sad we didn't get a sequel. William Macy and Steve Zahn really stole the scenes they were in. Mathew McConaughey was charming, but not in that over the top annoying way he gets sometimes. A really fun family friendly adventure movie.

This movie was too schizophrenic for me. Didn't hate it but was mediocre at best.

This film was well thought out and well planned. It has a decient plot that goes off course through the movie. You jum from character to character multiple times and if oyu are not paing attention you may find out you are not where you believe you should be in the movie. All in all a great movie woth some good special effects. They get to blow shit up.

As long as you're good as suspending your disbelief, Sahara is a great film. It wants to be the new Indiana Jones, but can't make up for its inane plot. The soundtrack is pretty kicking, though.

Mathew M. and company kind of make this movie interesting to watch. The side kick is annoying at time, but I think Dirk Pitt is portrayed well. The plot is non sense, but just once in a while, you get a whiff of Indiana Jones.
