Plot: After vandalizing a local Maryland School of Arts, as punishment Tyler Gage is assigned 200 hours of community service at the school. As a janitor, he cleans up the place, but as chance would have it ballet dancer Nora Clark, who has had a falling out with her dance partner, sees Gage dancing in the parking lot and the two strike up a partnership that soon goes beyond just dancing together. -- Chris Kavan

Step Up is a misguided movie that has little to offer. There is absolutely nothing to say about the direction and screenplay here, or lack there of. Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan are both good as the two leads and the have good chemistry together. Rachel Griffiths is also good in a small role. The film has no story and has no real solution, it's just one clique after another. but the final dance scene (if you make it that far) is actually quite good.

Don't bother watching. Nothing original, nothing interesting. Predictable.
