I liked this twist on the typical Tales from the Crypt saga. It works as a horror movie, with each episode being high quality, but it also works as a gang/hood movie with a kind of Menace 2 Society kind of feel in the later acts. I honestly enjoyed this and each time I watch it, it still holds up.

This is pretty much Creepshow with an African-American twist. The stories are pretty good (who knew David Alan Grier could play evil), but not overly scary. It does send a good message, but the medium is too weird to be effective.
