Strikingly similar to Hitchcock's underrated masterpiece "Dial M for Murder," to the point that I'd almost call it just as great.

Audrey Hepburn's fragile heroine, combined with an early menacing Alan Arkin performance makes for a thriller that is innovative and unique and completely tense, from start to spectacular finish.

This is how a thriller is supposed to be. This is how acting should be done. Audrey Hepburn and Alan Arkin were at their absolute best in this film. The movie starts off at a slow pace, but still maintains the viewers interest as interesting things keep happening. The movie ends on an extremely high note with one of the most suspenseful scenes in movie history. It was brilliant.
