Five films in and 007 is still going strong. Nothing outwardly special in ways of story, but the helicopter air battle scene is everything that the middling scuba fight\ballet from "Thunderball" wasn't.

Despite Connery's indisputable charm and a script by Roald Dahl, this is a very lacklustre affair. The action sequences are unexciting and it is largely without momentum. Or plot for that matter. Dull.

Russians accuse the Americans of eliminating their shuttle. SPECTRE is behind all the space crimes. Has one of the best cinematography and useful gadgets in the Bond series. The stunning location shoots is a feast for the eyes. As any Bond film, it usually deals with water and big ships. The one liner’s were still catchy and natural since Sean Connery exudes how to be suave and calm James Bond. I have many reservations such as the not so technically advanced special effects, a boring 2nd half of the film since the plot got confusing, later induction of Blofeld and a sleepy score. You Only Live Twice is a decent Bond only saved by the background instead of substance.
