A reasonably faithful adaptation of H.G. Wells' novel that begins well as Rod Taylor explores the near future, but is far less interesting when he ends up running around tunnels waving a stick at men in unconvincing rubber suits. Worth it for the first half though.

Good sci fi concepts, decently executed. The problem is, you can tell this movie came from the early 60's which was not a good decade for sci fi. Hardcore sci fi fans have to see this or they aren't really sci fi lovers.
