I expected a sequel to the funny and creative original to be weak and saturated in stupid dick humor. This movie is saturated in dick humor but it is hilarious. Better than the first in my opinion. It is filled with social commentary on our treatment of foreigners in the name of securing our borders and safety against terrorism. Must-See for men.

In an effort to top the comedy of the first film, the filmmakers forgot some of the simple plights that made the first film so funny. Everything in Harold & Kumar 2 is bigger, but it's not necessarily funnier.

The Humor Felt Forced Sometimes

This is a pretty good sequel... but I can't help but feel somewhat disappointed because I thought it would be better than the original due to its hilarious trailers. In some ways it is better, in some ways it is not. For instance, since the filmmakers are going for the bigger and grander technique, some of the humour felt forced as opposed to the first. John Cho and Kal Penn still have that connection that made the first one so good. I especially enjoyed the flashback scenes when the audiences get to learn how Harold and Kumar were like in college. The appearance of Neil Patrick Harris is as priceless as ever because he's just …

Did not surpass its predecessor

The second installment was not as good and not even as funny as the first one. I hardly laugh and I'm pretty much expecting so much more outrageous antics from those guys. But sad to say it did not happen, what the movie did was just almost bore me to death. I like NPH and all but his cameo lacked airtime that's why it did not work for me. It would have been interesting though to see him more in the movie but without giving anything away he falls to the ground short. Also the movie’s trailer have showed almost all of the good scenes that’s why when you see them again it isn’t funny anymore. Kal Penn and John Cho was a good tandem during the first one but then I felt they lacked chemistry the second time around. Even the GW impersonator is bad, I wished they hired someone who …
