Plot: Deported gangster Nick Ferraro plans to get back into the States from Italy by taking the face and identification of an American.Dan Milner, a professional gambler accepts a proposal to drop out of sight so Ferraro can take on the his identity. But once he learns that he's to be killed instead of simply going into hiding, he must get himself out of a very dangerous situation.

A weird mix of romance, thriller, and camp (all supplied by Vincent Price in his hammiest performance ever). Robert Mitchum is the tough noir hero while Jane Russell is the alluring bombshell. It’s not boring though.
