Recently saw this on the big screen at YBCA in San Francisco. This was a rare opportunity, because how maybe people are into Duras' minimalistic style? This film is also lauded by Jonathan Rosenbaum and I wanted to see what all the hoopla was about. Mainly, it is about two people discussing what would happen if they could make the movie they wanted. And there are establishing images of the road and trucks to make you feel a part of the film. But warning: be into two people talking for most of the time or you will be disappointed.
