Good acting but not a good picture

Save the Tiger is one of those movies that I felt it went through the motions of a mostly miserable man. There are other movies like this to like the wrestler and both end on a mostly ambiguous note. This does not really work, in any great way. It seems to want to cause an emotional reaction more than depression I think but I did not effect me at all. Besides the acting there really is nothing special about it. It fails to have anything overly interesting and I felt many things were not fully written such as the whole predicament they were in. It just kind of prodded along with bad things happenings and Lemmon's character reacting to them, nothing else is to that. Jack Lemmon though does save the film to a certain degree with his great performance.
