Plot: In this third film of The Thin Man series, Nick and Nora Charles are invited to spend the weekend at the house of Nora's father's former business partner Colonel Burr McKay. When McKay is murdered, Nick is once again called upon to solve the murder whose prime suspect involves a man wanting revenge for a past injustice by McKay.
