It's more family-friendly than "Click," but just about as unfunny.

Some inventive visuals, but the plot is mediocre and the humor juvenile and often stale. All the performances feel pretty phoned in and uninspired.

The only reason I went to see this is to witness a heartwarming Disney tale and (wait for it) that didn't happen. The jokes didn't work (Russell Brand mind-numbing humor), the characters are lame (specially Sandler's role which happens to be same every movie he's in) and the Bedtime stories are downright uninteresting. I liked this movie, kinda. I thought it was funny but there of course were completely stupid parts. I honestly thought that weird gerbil hamster thing was the greatest, Bugsie. He was great. Kerri Russell did a good job, I think she's slowly coming back into Hollywood and this was a pretty good transition movie.

Yeah can see that.  But those are all old.  My personal favorite post Billy Madison is Punch Drunk Love. It was very odd but I really enjoyed it while most did not.Punch Drunk Love
