I think I liked this movie more when it 1st came out & I saw it then now after watching it recently.Still a good movie though.This is what it must be like if Bill Gates crossed over to the dark side

If it would have stuck to its guns, it could have been decent enough tech thriller. But there are too many moments of silliness, mainly over ambitious editing or clunking lines of dialogue. Typically for a thriller, it relies on old ideas and cliche and quickly becomes nonsense.

Software magnate Gary Winston (Tim Robbins) is on the verge of achieving a quantum leap forward in the realm of global communications. He wants to rule the information world by devising a system that will link all sources of communications through his satellites. He recruits the top graduates from the best computer science schools and offers these premium programmers the good life in exchange for good code. Milo (Ryan Phillippe accepts the job with Gary, even though his pals consider it a deal with the devil.
