I watched it on Superbowl Sunday one year and actually thought it was more exciting than the superbowl.

A brutal, sometimes exciting, well-acted portrait of professional football. I think this film properly captures the competition and wheeling and dealing that takes place behind the scenes. Jamie Foxx is fantastic, also.

Had a solid cast, nice screenplay with amazing directing. Coach Tony D'Amato (Al Pacino) guides a struggling football team. Cameron Diaz was good as the owner Christina Pagniacci. Has a good mix in terms of soundtrack. Has one of the best on-screen speeches by Tony D. - "You know when you get old in life, things get taken from you. That's part of life. I'll tell you this - in any fight, it's the guy who's willing to die who's gonna win that inch. And I know if I'm going to have any life anymore, it's because I'm still willing to fight and die for that inch. Because that's what living is!" Any Given Sunday is a good sports drama with a few lessons to boot coupled …
