It has everything an Woody Allen comedy needs: strong characters, a sense of humor, and a pessimistic philosophy lesson. Unfortunately, "Anything Else" wears thin and fails to live up to the director's past films.

I don't like Biggs but he was great in this. Allen's best work in years. Better each time you see it.

Yes, ANYTHING Else

When I watched this movie today I felt like there was something familiar about it. Then I remembered...I saw it already. Watching it the second time was just as unmemorable as the first time; however, I will never again forget that I saw this movie to make sure that I never have to sit throught it again. I think Christina Ricci was terribly annoying in this film. There were so many good actors, and all of them did their jobs quite well. My favorite character was Woody Allen, he was great. But, it was still an annoying movie to sit through. It was annoying to watch all of Ricci's character's ridiculous quirks. It was annoying to watch Bigg's character play a doormat. Channing's character was just plain obnoxious. I suppose that was the point. But it's difficult to like a movie when all of …
