Plot: The chipmunks are back and the pop superstars have their work cut out for them. After being left in charge of Dave's nephew, Toby, they go back to school. But the music program is in trouble, and the chipmunks must win a $25,000 prize in a battle of the bands to keep it afloat. As illogical as talking chipmunks are, this movie doesn't even try to make them make sense. It's a pointless, unfunny, annoying mishmash of popular songs and cliches.
