A car accident occurred and Dr. Bill survives. He gets his girlfriend’s head from the crash and finds a body to keep her alive. The script for me worked for the horror flick. Some memorable quotes - “I’ll make her complete.” “You shouldn’t lose trust in people, not all of us.” “Life has a pattern…what about her soul.” Lousy ending, forced acting and simple location and props were used though the score was applicable. Portrays themes of playing God, tampering nature, trust and obsession. The Brain That Would not Die was not as scary as the title, if only it were executed better, this could have had promise.

This movie should get an award for being the most realistic movie of all-time. I mean, it's all about a man who keeps his dead wife's head alive after decapitation, and she telepathically communicates to a monster locked up in a closet! lol. So like I said, it's totally realistic, right? Right. The best scene is when the old surgeon gets his good arm ripped off and you can plainly see the bulge of his hidden arm through his jacket. lol. Oh, how I love early tries at special effects!
