It is Valentine's day and people, singles or in a relationship alike, gets some story of hook-ups, break-ups and make-ups. **** What I like about this film was every character received spotlights on their stories. There are good stories, and there are bad, good goes to *SPOILER ALERT* Ashton Kutcher's supposed engagement and bad goes to the two Taylors non-sense romantic subplot. Lots of love stories are predictable and usual except the gay thing twist.

One of those flicks where the cast sells the films image and marketing. Not as amusing or entertaining as Love Actually. Obviously the number of characters lacks development so the plot confuses. Chris Rockhas a simplistic story made complicated and lentghened. Definitely nothing memorable and easilly forgetable.

Yes - it IS Love, Actually in the US

This was hugely disappointing. The talent they had for this movie was pretty great, but the script really let them down on this one.
They basically took "Love, Actually", dumbed it down, removed the funny bits and most of the romance, added a few so-called twists and tried to pass it off as their own work. Ok "Love, Actually" wasn't totally original, but this movie lifts a lot from it anyway. The multi story structure, the "cute kid in love", betrayal and infidelity, a man in the media's spotlight, and even the required "stopping someone from getting on a plane" bit. Just too bad they couldn't write it better.
I didn't really care about any of the characters, nothing heartwarming about most of it (except the last little bit), the attempts at comedy were awful, the highschool kids …
