An underrated little film about life, relationships, and choices. The wonderful direction by Tadjedin and good performance from Keira Knightley make this film what it is. Worthington is also solid, but not as much when Knightley is not on screen with him. I might have wanted a little more from Mendes and Canet. Good character piece.

A successful middle class couple Joanna and Michael (Keira Knightley and Sam Worthington), are in the early years of marriage and living a comfortable life in New York City but Joanna suspects Michael of being attracted to his colleague Laura (Eva Mendez). Things come to a head when Michael leaves on a business trip in Philadelphia leaving his wife home alone filled with jealous insecurities. Joanna sets off to grab a cup of coffee and coincidentally runs into her old flame Alex (Guillaume Canet) who is on a one night visit from France setting up a scenario of temptation and the urge to break to break marital vows. To top it all off Joanna has never confessed to Micheal about her unresolved feelings for an Alex.

A bit slow paced and this thought provoking film ends leaving you to …
