Plot: The Martin family purchase an android named Andrew (Robin Williams) to perform household tasks. Before long, the humans realize they may be rubbing off on their domestic servant as Andrew begins to experience human feelings and creative thought.

I can't stand Robin Williams at the best of times and this saccharine soaked mush had me reaching for the sick bag. Like the similarly nauseating AI with a frontal lobotomy.

Not a comedy movie, but a great feel good movie

People who know Robin Williams would be kind of surprised to find that this movie is not that all a comedy. There are some funny moments, but none of that laughing out loud peeing in your pants moments.
It's basically chronicles a robot that strives to be human. When other robots like Andrew has become obsolete, Andrew searches high and low and years to find someone that can make him MORE human. Andrew discovers love, hate, rejection, success, and death. It took him many many years, and Andrew has finally become legally human.
It's one of my favorite movies because you can learn a bit about what it's like to be an "outsider". It could be someone with a disability, a foreigner striving to become an American citizen, etc. I thought it was well made. Just do not expect this to …
