Bestowed with cult status for good reason, "Big Trouble in Little China" is like something from one of the most glorious of fever dreams.

John Carpenter's knowingly ridiculous homage to Chinese swords and sorcery films in which the hilariously useless Jack Burton takes on a mythical demi-god surrounded by chop-socky mayhem and cheesy flying effects. Definitely not for the serious minded and all the more fun for it.
