All the actors in this movie were wonderful: Al Pacino, John Goodman, and Susan Sarandon gave great performances and showed the turmoil of getting people to understand that euthanasia was a patient's desire not to suffer with a painful and terminal illness. Dr. Kevorkian was robbed of his defense when the government dropped the assisted suicide charge and charged instead with second degree murder. This film was excellent in showing that "Dr. Death" was not focused on killing people, but providing people with dignity by letting the terminally ill choose how they died...without pain and suffering.

Al Pacino as the talented genius Dr. Jack Kevorkian who practices euthanasia. A well-casted picture with the assistance of talents of Goodman, Sarandon and Huston. The bonus feature was very interesting, showing the real Dr. Kevorkian and his friends. My personal favorite actor always give his best, which was richly rewarded by winning the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Movie or Mini-Series, Golden Globe and an SAG Award for his portrayal. You Don't Know Jack was so good that it was nominated for Outstanding Made for Television Movie at the Emmys.

Not a bad movie but this is the life of Dr. K. It should be interesting, full of controversy and very exciting. Instead, it was rather mediocre. I learned a lot but that does not mean I was entertained. Al Pacino and the rest of the cost was great. Good acting but that didn't make me like this movie.
