Although I would have liked a more well-rounded presentation of the topic at hand, this was still an eye-opening look into the state of the education system. Three years later, it's hard to know if any progress has been made. This is the kind of truth that truly hurts.

As an educator I was very interested in seeing this documentary. As a viewer, I got bored and annoyed quickly. I just can't respect a documentary that quotes the most shocking information and tries to pass it off as the norm. The moment that they started blaming teachers for everything ruined it for me. What should have been an expose in how underfunded schools are came across as more "let's find the worst teachers and claim that's how things are."
