After a car accident, Martin Harris (Liam Neeson) wakes up in a hospital with a little knowledge of how he came there and who is he exactly. "Unknown" is a drama-thriller movie of searching oneself's identity. This film has a clear, smooth and smart twist. The cast, for me, performed just right. However, I was looking for more action, that without a break of momentum and a lot of tensions. Overall, a good watch.

After Liam Neeson's work in Taken, I was excited for his next action movie...he's become quite the action star. Overall, UNKNOWN was entertaining even despite some annoying flaws. There are really only 3 things that bothered me about this film: 1) January Jones cannot act. She's as wooden as a board in every scene...same as her role X-Men First Class. 2) Some of the things Neeson's character forgets and remembers were silly and a little too "convenient" for my taste. I get that he had memory loss, but I don't like it when films take advantage of that fact to force an interesting plot. 3) The ending was a bit much too...if I can forgive a "convenient" story line, the least you can do is give me a strong, original ending. I've seen it before. It fit, but it fits other movies too, and in …

Dr. Martin Harris (Liam Neeson) and wife Liz (January Jones) arrive in Berlin for a biotechnology summit. Martin realizes his briefcase was left at the airport after arriving from the hotel. A taxi he took to retrieve the briefcase crashes from a bridge. He is saved from drowning by the taxi driver named Gina. Martin discovers his wife with another man claiming to be her husband. To his amazement, Liz doesn’t recognize Martin. Dr. Harris searches for Prof. Leo Bressler (Sebastian Koch), whose identity will be revealed towards the latter portion of the film. It had a few unbelievable scenes, a Doctor that can fight and several coincidental situations involved just for a stolen briefcase. Best parts are the beginning and near ending. Nevertheless, the portrayal of Liam Neeson and …
