The film is about a young selfish boy doesn't think much of his mother, that is until martians kidnap her and he realizes just how much he needs her. Now he must come up with a plan to get her back home. This movie had good animation but the jokes fail on so many levels that it is hard to explain.

This is a perfect animation for family time. It takes out of this world with its humuor and action. Its use of flashback is also very cool.

"Mars Needs Moms" is an animation movie dealing with a young boy who does not pay so much attention on his mother's care and love for him, until she was kidnap by martians and bring her to their planet. This is a very fun and exciting film- which also make sense. Though the touching scenes are sort of mediocre and just as light, the impact may still be very huge for some audience. I was amaze watching this film. The visual features for me were really fantastic! I simply love it. The simplicity of its thought and the actual play just gives enjoyment to its viewers. Isn't it sweet to see young boy running to actually SAVE his mother?♥

Out-of-this-World Fun

Mars Needs Moms is a sweet way of showing the love between a mother & her child. On top of it, it is pretty funny! Dan Fogler provides the comic relief (as always) & actually has a sweet & tragic past. It is beautiful how they show how he ended up on the ship as it is quite a tragic story. The visual effects are out of this world!! Very convincing & quite beautiful.

However, on the bad side, it is probably a bit too high-tech. It is hard to way this up against other sci-fi Computer Animated films, but, I'm gonna do it anyway:

Starting with Wall-E; in my opinion, Mars Needs Moms is a lot better than Wall-E. Hell, half that movie is in silence for god sake!! So, Round 1 to 'Mars Needs Moms!'

Now, to Space Chimps; okay, I did laugh at Space Chimps. It was funny & way more enjoyable …
