"The Bling Ring" is not only a decent crime saga, but a pretty good representation of the glam-obsessesd youth culture of today's generation.

Reminds me of the film Clint Eastwood shot about the Paris Train shooter those marines stopped. There's just not enough meat on the bones to carry a 90 minute film. There maybe could have been if they'd overhauled the script and narrative. But a lot of stuff got glossed over, like how they tried fence the stuff. It ends up being an incredibly boring film. My advice, watch it at 1.25x speed while doing another mundane task. There's no twists, nothing to keep you zoned in. You could walk away for the middle 40 minutes, resume viewing, and miss nothing important.

a really rubbish movie this one. then it just ends. its about a group of teens who rob famous peoples houses in the hollywood hills., instead of just stealing it all like most criminals would do they seem to go in their houses to shop taken a few things in each one shoes and handbags etc. really silly.
There is 4 or 5 hot girls and one guy . a bit of drug taking and robbing but no sex which i find very strange. lots of pointless scenes and over long camera shots. no real sense of who these people are except they are just rich kids being greedier and fame hungry .
its a pointless movie nothing really happens .its like a bad tv movie i get the impression they dragged it out with long pauses and useless scenes just to make it a movie , worst movie of 2013 so far............

The Bling Ring review

It starts of with a sick kid named Marc Hall (Broussard) who seems to be a loner in a new school. He was able to stand up for Rebecca Ahn (Chang) which eventually led to their friendship. They form a group that ransacks homes of celebrities such as Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Megan Fox, Rachel Bilson, and Orlando Bloom to get some items. The soundtrack was applicable for their generation, pacing was right and acting sincere. This could have been in the level of Social Network but somewhat dwindles towards the mysterious conclusion that didn't delve on the lives of the culprits. There was no clarity as to the effects of the kids actions and what their fate was after being caught. It lacks that certain entertainment value compared to a true to life flick like Social Network. …

The Bling Ring review

If you are looking for a movie without a moral compass, this is the movie. The characters in the movie consisit of a group teens, about 5-6 mainly who look up when stars are going out of town, for example if Paris Hilton was going to a party in Miami, they would know she wouldn't be at her house, google her address, and go rob the place. No one in the group seems to think that this is an activity that is all that bad. They flaunt and brag about the things they steal. They also rob things out of cars on the street. Of course, they eventually get caught and the fun is over. It's not a bad movie though. It's enteirtaing, the characters smoke alot of weed and use some other drugs, they go out to clubs alot, they have a good time with the things and money they steal. All the more amazing …
