"Diamonds Are Forever" is adequate entertainment from the middle tier of the 007 canon.

James Bond: "That's quite a nice little nothing you're almost wearing. I approve". Diamonds Are Forever is about Jame Bond himself in Las Vegas on the trail of a diamond smuggling operation that is headed by his old nemesis, Blofeld. The song in this movie just like Goldfinger, the song is so good in this film it was stuck in my head after the movie was over. Sean Connery once again nails Mr. Bond like always because he is bond. They are these two guys in this movie and they bad guy but I can not remember they names sadly, because the two bad guys in the movie where a bit creepy.

An oddity, this one. Sean returned after George Lazenby flopped as 007 and it does have more in common with Roger Moore's outings than the decidedly more subtle earlier films. Seans tongue in cheek charisma wins through however and he can somehow get away with the absurdity of it all in a way Moore never could.

Mr. Kidd and Mr. Wint try to get rid of Bond several times survives. James discovers the location of Williard Whyte and explains that a whole country is on auction by Blofeld's plans in creating a laser satellite that can destroy nuclear weapons. The tapes and cars make the film being dated; however the clever one-liners and action sequences were amusing. The direction of the plot was all over, seeming to focus on other things …
