A parody version of Menace to Society and Boyz in da Hood. I remember a few laughable scenes, but more of the outrageous. Exaggeration at its finest and the directing, performances and and screenplay was forgettable.

The Wayans Bros. first and best parody (or movie for that matter). Hilarious.

More offensive than funny

"Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood" is a lame attempt at making fun of serious "growing up in the hood" movies. In fact, it's more offensive than funny.
Shawn Wayans plays "Ashtray," a teenager who moves into the hood at the start of the movie, and wants to move out half-way through. He is accompanied by his buddy (Marlon Wayans), who has a weird look on his face at all times and has an even weirder hairdo with the ability to coordinate his guns with his clothes.
"Ashtray" hooks up with a woman who already has seven kids from different fathers. The dumbest part about this character is she knows she is pregnant seconds after she and "Ashtray" make love. How does she know she's pregnant literally seconds after having sex anyway????
