Thank god this movie floped at the box office. Rose Hathaway is a Dhampir - half-human and half-vampire - and she works to protect the Moroi, peaceful, mortal vampires who live unnoticed among humans. But the Moroi are targets of the vicious Strigoi - the immortal, bloodthirsty vampires of legend. She forms of bond with Princess Vasilisa Dragomir at St. Vladimir's Academy - but when she is targeted, the pair must flee the academy in order to survive. This movie is bad and I mean laughably bad in so many levels. the movie is boring and the characters you don't really care for.

conry chessy silly pontless and a waste of time

As a fan of vampire movies long before they got popular . This film feels like the result of the poor silly twilight movies. another in a line of bad vampire films aimed at the teen market.. played by good good looking girls and sickly sweet love sidelines.
I tried to like this i wanted to but it was just awful in everyway, from the very beginning. from the gorgeous yet cocky girl who was kicking ass from the opening to suddenly becoming a bit of wimp without a clue to fight when she ends up at the academy complete with voice over diary type speaking which was plain silly.
corny cheesy childish uneven pointless are just some words to describe this move. nothing happens till near the very end and that was just a waste of time.
