Call it daring, call it disgusting but I guarantee you have never nor will ever see again a film quite like Wetlands. Essentially it follows Helen, a teen who cares little for hygiene, likes sex, does some drugs on the side and is the polar opposite of her uptight mother, who has found religion but has drifted away from her lackadaisical father. Her family has issues - so does she, not the least of which is a shaving accident leading to an anal fissure (yes, when has an anal fissure been a plot point in any other movie). Anyway, I think just about every bodily fluid is explored - so if you are easily grossed out, you may find this a bit much. It's certainly an acquired taste, but worth the effort.
