The trailer intrigued me very much with its plot, but the film does not keep in suspense until the end. Worried about all the main characters, but the ending let us down. It’s worth watching a movie once, but it’s unlikely that it will be more desire. And I also think that in real life the level of application security such as Utopia P2P is somewhat higher and it’s unrealistic to crack some of them.

How can a film be so dull and cliche at the same time? Michael Mann has been on cruise control for awhile, and this is just as bad (if not worse) than Miami Vice. Most of the cast is wasted in their roles, the story is full of inconsistencies, the pacing is terrible and it results in a mess of a film. For what it's worth, the action scenes are pretty amazing, and visually the film is exceptional - but it can't save an otherwise dreary production.

Some Michael Mann movies can be a hit or a miss sometimes. Blackhat is sadly a miss.

I was somewhat intrigued going into "Blackhat" because of my appreciation of Michael Mann's work over the years. Unfortunately this movie is flat, not very thrilling for a Thriller and Chris Hemsworth of "Thor" fame is dull and listless in the lead as he mumbles just about every line. Viola Davis's talent is wasted and Michael Mann seems to be going through the motions. Mann has Written and Directed some very good films over the years including his first Theater release "Thief" as well as "Manhunter", "Heat", 'Last of the Mohicans" and one of the best films in the last 20 years "The Insider". Unfortunately the 2000's haven't been as kind with more misses than hits. "Miami Vice" & "Public Enemies" fall into that category. "Ali" does have its moments but only "Collateral" hits the …
