Though I felt it did drag at times, this is an important documentary for anyone interested in the state of technology and surveillance in the world - from the mouth of one of the most polarizing people in the world. Whether you view him as a traitor or a hero, Edward Snowden is not afraid to tell the truth, even at great personal risk. One wonders if we have already forgotten this lesson and who is currently monitoring our lives.

So I just watch the Oscar winning documentary Citizenfour and it was pretty good. The documentary is well made and has a lot of things to like about it, but I never feel like I'm going to watch it again and it's not for everyone. Some people may get bored out of they minds watching this documentary but while some may find it interesting, for me I was interested on what was going on and the topic that the documentary was focusing on. I would recommend this to those who love documentaries and see what you think of it.

This is not only a great documentary, but the definitive account of one of the most important, frightening developments in recent American society. As America flirts with the possibility of slipping into fascism, the subject matter of this film may sadly become more topical. This interview would reveal the full depravity of the United States’ surveillance into the private lives of its countrymen. Poitras and the two journalists she has entrusted with breaking …
