Captain Daniel McCormick (Mel Gibson) is a pilot in love with Helen (Isabel Glasser). He insists on being cryogenically frozen until Helen wakes up in a coma. Daniel wakes up in a different era and meets Nat Cooper (Elijah Wood), who aids him in search for Helen. Claire (Jamie Lee Curtis), Nat's mother, offers McCormick a place to stay. Score and set pieces were delightful and premise was unique. There were a few dull moments which felt lengthy and the dialogue were sometimes cheesy. Nevertheless, Gibson was solid and Wood shows potential. Forever Young is a descent watch for those who enjoy time travel mixed with romance.

I thought this movie was terrific! I love how they emphasized the differences in culture between the two time periods. And, the music was fantastic.

This is one of those movies that my whole family hated, but I loved. It was so great. I love those time travel movies as well as cheesy romances. Mel Gibson isn't my favorite actor, but when he's in a good movie, I appreciate him greatly.
