Remember when Freddy was scary and we all got scared to go to sleepy but don't worry about that now because Freddy in this movie likes to play video games and shout out funny stupid Jokes and acting like a jack-ass.

Although my least-favorite out of the Nightmare films, this happens to be the only theatrical release I have seen in 3-D (partially, at the end anyway). Despite some nifty deaths, this has the worst story.

Review - Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare (1991)

Maggie Burroughs (Lisa Zane) didn't believe it when she heard the stories of children being murdered in their dreams, but when she learned the truth about Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund), she knew she had to finish him off once and for all in “Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare.”
What ever happened to the original? They even referenced it a few times in every movie, but not one of them had the same feel to it. Personally, I would have loved to see all of them stay in that horror feel, rather than going to comedy/fantasy. This one goes beyond that and tries something really new. Unfortunately for them, this idea made the “final” story in the series and utter waste of time.
