"Bleed for This" adds no new traits to its sports comeback formula, but when a movie's as solid and wholesome as this one, who really cares.

An interesting real life story which should be an inspiring movie about perseverance and fortitude is instead left wallowing in its self pity and a surprising amount of seediness.
