All of its parts are very familiar, but "Gifted" is too fuzzy and warm to turn down.

Predictable but sweet drama. Chris Evans has a chance for a dramatic performance. Jenny Slate plays someone more down-to-earth and likable. The standout is McKenna Grace as the young gifted girl Mary.
